It’s Official – Microsoft Is Screwed

October 28, 2005

Is the next Office to be web based? Quote – “Microsoft is leaping into hosted applications big time. InformationWeek reports that Microsoft plans to offer hosted implementations of SharePoint, CRM and ERP applications. But the best quote in that article was left till last. A “Microsoft insider” was asked which other products and services Microsoft would host and the reply was: “Everything. Hosted Office. Everything hosted.”” If the next Office is web based then Microsoft is screwed. It would be nice if it was just an added feature, but if everything is then they are so screwed. Why? You ask. Because you will not always have an internet connection. What if someone wants to work offline? Not to mention the fact that 47% of internet connection are still DIAL UP!

  • Catholic School Principal: Thou Shalt Not…

    October 26, 2005

…. Have a BLOG!!! A principal at a Catholic high school in New Jersey, has added another offense that will get you suspended, having a blog. What a friggin moron. He can’t take away the right of free speech. It would be different if the rule was that you could not blog at school… but this… it’s just…. wrong. If I went to that school I would tell everyone to get a blog and bring a laptop to school and blog during class. You can send your comments to the school HERE.

    Countdown to lawsuit: T-Minus 10.. 9…8

PS3 Will Put Parents In Control Of Censorship In Games

    October 24, 2005

“In a discussion with the Tokyo government, Sony confirmed that the PS3 would feature a comprehensive system for controlling accessible content. Sony has made a firm commitment to put the power in the hands of parents, taking some heat off of the developers, publishers, and retailers that have been under attack in recent months” I guess it is good thing but kids will start to say: “Hey! Where the heck did all the blood go? This game sucks!”
